During the centuries of pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, on the same site as the current Ermitatge de Quadres, there was a lodging for travellers and pilgrims: the domus hospitalaris, next to the Romanesque chapel.
The new building housing the current hotel and restaurant was built in 2005 by an architectural studio in Barcelona. One of the objectives of the project was to obtain a building aesthetically integrated into its environment, with pure geometric lines and constructed of natural materials.
The hotel has 8 comfortable rooms, named after the most beautiful historic shrines at which the ancient pilgrims worshipped on their path through Cerdanya.
